Only God can do that. He, in his all powerfulness, can certainly choose to use me as an instrument, but that comes totally from Him. Prayer, and working on myself, and being an example, are the only way that we can be open to being God&#39;s instrument. Well put, my friend! All of it. I recently had a discussion with a friend from high school, a former Catholic turned agnostic who asked why I was praying for the people of Haiti. What good do prayers do, she asked. It was difficult to explain and defend my faith and it seemed no matter what I said, it wasn&#39;t logical to her. Eventually, I just had to stop and pray about it and honestly pray for her.
