My husband, when asked by the children, "daddy, why aren't you Catholic??" answers, "I am- I've been going to Mass for 11 years!". If only it were that easy. I have SO much to say about this topic and it sometimes hurts SO badly- I suppose that my faith in trusting needs some re-vamping. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;When it comes down to the bottom line- God chose this man for me...I must honor that and be the best role model for the faith that I can be. I ...</title><content type='html'>I do hope you post more about mixed marriages.  I have been in one for 20 yrs now.  It has had its rough moments.  My husband has said to me he wants what I have.. yet he refuses to convert.  Instead, he spent time jumping from church to church trying to find what was missing in his life.  I tell him over and over it comes from WITHIN... it's not something you pick up in a church.  Still, he struggles.  He, too, is a very wonderful father, husband, and man.  Very spiritual.. just lost in a place to call his home.  I pray for him and have turned it over to God.  I stressed for many weeks and rightly so when he was "joining" some church that requested he tithe X amount and pushed and pushed for him to attend EVERY function at the church and to .. bring his family.. and they were praying for us.  Creepy!  They shoudl have been pushing his vocation as a father and a husband!  I'm rambling.. but look forward to more discussions on this topic!
